There’s one piece of clothing that I never been able to pair; it’s the black jeans. Normally I only buy expensive jeans so I always feared to buy the black one because probably I would never use. After I bought this cheap jeans by Zara (see here) and noticed that they’re not bad, I decided to buy the black-grey and give myself a try. At the same time I also tried to create some outfits in my mind with this dark color. It’s from February that I’m ready with the outfit but for some reasons connected with the bad weather, I couldn’t take pictures about it. Finally last month I did the photo shooting and I welcomed it like a miracle.
For this look I took inspiration here and there but my idea was to create something darker. I decided to pair the black jeans with a black t-shirt by Alexander Wang, that it’s regular fit and really soft. It was longer when I bought it but I cut it a little because I don’t like when the top goes beneath the butt.
I wore this new black sneakers by Everlast that I bought in a store in Palermo. To be honest I’m not sure if this shoes are original or a fake because they costed only 23 euros. I wore them a couple of time and they’re comfortable, the quality doesn’t look bad. I need to wear them a little longer to test the real quality.
The jacket is a bordeaux bomber by ASOS, is still a dark color, not bright but essential to interrupt the black tone.
This combination is new for me but it’s pretty popular for those who like dark colors. Still now I’m not sure about how I look with this colors combination and actually to do the perfect job I should have worn the real black jeans.
So this is my first dark step into the black combination. After this I did another brave step, in fact I bought a real black jeans by Dsquared2 (hence expensive). Now I have the motivation and some ideas for summer outfits using them. My goal is to show here at least a couple of outfits and also create many looks for my Instagram feed.
So the black jeans challenge is open.
