With this post I don’t intend to give a lesson or a historical reconstruction of capitalism. I leave this task to professors and academics, I will simply limit myself to giving an elementary definition and commenting on what I see. Capitalism is the economic system in which almost all of us live today, compared to systems such as feudalism and socialism where the economy was planned by the state, with capitalism there is a decentralization. With the capitalist economic system, companies or individuals are given the opportunity to produce with their own means in what is defined as a market economy which follows the law of supply and demand.
In theory a more democratic, freer system that avoids conflicts of interest between the state and private individuals, however two fundamental problems remain. The first is access to credit, a democratic thing if it is applied in a transparent way, giving the possibility to anyone who is capable of founding a company of their own. I don't know in the past or at the dawn of this principle, but today we know that doing such a thing is utopian and one always remains stuck in the infernal mechanism of debt. At the same time there are companies that always have the right idea and get rich overnight. Who knows why there is always a strange imbalance; there are people who are too intuitive and people who are too naïve. It seems to me that behind great intuitions there is always the help of those who already know the future because the famous progress is nothing more than an agenda. This is where we come to the second problem; the famous law of supply and demand. With capitalism there are individuals who have created a production of goods that follows the logic of demand to which a selling price is then applied. This selling price remains the most mysterious thing because it varies on the basis of calculations that are difficult for ordinary people to understand. The company takes all the risks by hiring staff to whom it gives a guaranteed pay by putting them inside a mechanism with no way out. A form of democratic slavery which today has reached its extreme. But what is even more mysterious is the famous demand! Have we ever wondered when we citizens have ever asked for all the nonsense that companies produce? Even if there are things that we really need, why not produce them in such a way as to make them last at least thirty years? It is clear that this system, rather than being born to give democracy and freedom, was born with a malicious purpose to make the rich even richer and lock up all the rest of humanity in a cage.
As I said before I don't intend to give an academic lesson but I limit myself to what I see. For example, I use logic enough to understand that in American society this system has always led to living as slaves; working to pay the bills. In fact, there are few “normal” Americans who can leave their country to travel and they do so when they are young, before getting married or when they are retired. In my travels in Canada or the USA, I happened to talk to local people who were amazed at the fact that as an Italian I had visited more places in their countries than those who had visited them. But beyond this, right now with the various crises that have affected the whole world, it almost seems that the capitalist system is the modern name for slavery. Due to the serious crises literally invented out of nowhere (wars, food or chip shortages and others) we are forced to work to pay for living expenses and taxes. Now I don't know if we are so unfortunate that all catastrophes happen by chance or everything was cleverly planned, but if we use logic we understand that it is difficult for catastrophes to always come all together.
But we need to take a step back and go back to talk about private companies "decentralized" by governments; who believes this is real? Take Apple for example, the largest technology company in the world. This company knows infinitely many details about millions of people, theoretically far more than a government knows. They know everything about us and with new technologies they will be able to predict the intentions of each individual. Now if there is politics, and despite the mediocrity of politicians, it seems strange to me that governments leave all this series of such delicate informations in the hands of a private company. In other words, who says to me that behind Apple or Amazon there aren't always governments, or other entities even higher than them? Obviously I'll never know, but if I live assuming it to be like this, I'm certainly protected and I can limit the damage. I personally don't believe in chance, but I do believe in planning and bad intentions. You don't invent a digital device called smartphone even before people understand its intended use. A device so perfect as to alienate people's minds and change the habits of a society in just 10 years. Behind a futuristic telephone there must necessarily be a meticulous study of human psychology, a study with 100% efficiency, not the dream of a visionary. Such an efficient and articulated worldwide delivery system, born from the thought of a single individual during a train journey, cannot be founded. If you do a calculation, there are no technical times so it's unthinkable that a person could be so fast as to be able to guess them ahead of time, you can't get rich overnight.
Another example of a suspicious visionary is the owner of Tesla, SpaceX and now also X (formerly Twitter). This individual officially founded PayPal and after selling it he began the escalation that made him a millionaire. With Tesla always at a loss he magically managed to also found SpaceX with which he even replaced the official space agency to supply the ISS with its rockets. Now I don't want to go into the discussion of space which for me is another fairy tale, a topic that I will analyze in another moment. However, what I wonder is whether his business can be realistic from an economic point of view. People close to the American establishment defined him as phony, or even as an individual aided by the government, essentially a front person. This is because when the world needs a hero, capitalism invents one. Famous not only for being rich without a reason, the founder of Tesla is also known for his exuberance, his eccentricity which can be striking in the USA but where people are seriously eccentric, they immediately understand that he is a fictional character.
This modern capitalist system tastes so much like a technique of control, manipulation of the masses and an attempt at homologation, it is enough to analyze the vices and virtues of modern society to realize it. This is not an economic system, this is a long term agenda! Moreover, we neglect the most important thing that this system steals from us; our time. We dedicate our lives in exchange for pay; but for what? For the joke of evolution, for progress because the world must go on! I’m of the opinion that the living being is born free, and any compulsion that leads him to do something under the will of others, only creates a negative reaction in that living being. Putting a price on everything, this individual is threatened by the poverty that is always around the corner and therefore is willing to do anything to survive, even reluctantly. Whoever designed all of this first of all made sterile an ability that we all have; the logic. Today no one uses it anymore and yet it is enough to apply it every now and then and realize how fraudulent the capitalist system is and its consequences. As a principle, a society based on evolution must lead to well-being, not stress. The way human beings are made, they need water and food to survive and then they need to sleep and have sex. This last reality has always been covered by a taboo, but if human beings have gone from one billion in the 70s to six billion today, it means that sex is a necessary instinct (btw I also have doubts about population numbers). That this has been improperly regulated with marriage and monogamy this is another topic that I will deal with in another post. Now I wonder, how does a ruling class that believes itself evolved to put a price on the things necessary to survive?! We pay for water, food, we sleep little due to stress and we have set rules for an instinct that gives us the healthiest pleasure. What I think instead is that a true society based on evolution should first of all have free water and food for everyone. Subsequently, if you want to maintain a capitalist model, it should give free energy as a basis and guarantee a living being a place to live. The citizen should work only for privileges: travel, cars and luxury accessories.
Clearly all these things that I have listed are the real engine of capitalism which, putting the price on everything, keeps being lived under threat. However, the damage that this system creates is even sprawling. As if the vicious circle created by work-money-taxes-stress were not enough, capitalism also has an important impact on the neuroses of "modern" society, reaching the point of influencing those marital relationships already altered by the system itself. Today the cause of divorce in the lower middle class is economic problems. The rich, on the other hand, divorce for their vices and extravagances, secret attitudes that have now become public knowledge. The rich marry among the rich to maintain social class but then they are dissatisfied. They have no practical sense and above all, rich males cannot be diversified except in luxury goods, people who are probably impotent or in any case incapable of sexually satisfying a woman. On the other hand, the upper middle class has discovered that it is possible to have more fun when single and therefore, thanks to the internet in the form of social networks, ordinary people but with a higher standard of living have freed those sexual taboos that had led them to get married very young just by convention but without them knowing why (clearly my data is from real life, not from a statistical company that no one understands how it carries out surveys). Today on the internet it is possible to know anyone and cheating has become very simple. There is zero tolerance between partners and this has led to a phenomenon of divorce even in the upper middle class who have thus copied the rich but without having their well-being. In addition to this, in the upper middle class, capitalism has rightfully led the intelligent woman into managerial roles with great ability however this denies them the possibility of living as a classical woman, an instinct that woman has in her nature. This creates an important conflict for the woman who wants to procreate, because she cannot dedicate the necessary time to her son-daughter, worse still in non-managerial figures, the woman is even threatened by the employer if she wants to have a child! In other words, today capitalism is making any kind of married life impossible and today we see that people compensate for this desire for affection by buying pets. The dog is perhaps the most popular example, a living, subservient creature that is always with us and never lets us down. From creating economic hardship for survival to love affairs, capitalism is creating destructive chain reactions at all levels of social class. What I think is that if there were no money and the monetary system (which capitalism is based on) human relationships would be more sincere and better, without being conditioned by economic interests.
But the thing that makes me laugh the most about capitalism is the "ecological" contradiction regarding the principle of evolution. The capitalist produces things that no one ever asked for. In the name of evolution and progress, capitalism allows itself to pollute in order to produce and then blames the citizen! It is the last nonsense we have to prepare for because with the “invention” of climate change, they will soon blame these problems on the individual citizen. As I said before, let them start producing for free the things we need to live; water and food to start with. Then the production should be based on needs and not on vices! Today there is an oversupply that no one has ever asked for and that is not needed. All this leads to a very common consequence today which is to put the worker under stress. Lately I've been noticing workers such as kitchen staff but also waiters and simple shop assistants during a break outside the store. These people all have a common thread: they smoke a cigarette quickly and nervously and at the same time scroll the screen of their mobile phone looking for who knows what. It is a modern way to relieve yourself from the stress and super fast times that today's workers have. Excessive work shifts born to provide superfluous services. Moreover this scenario was once typical of the metropolis while now they are common even in a small city like mine. If we think of Amazon's super fast deliveries for example; there is no reason to deliver products in record time, in my opinion it is done intentionally just to stress the worker with heavy shifts. The goal is to have a society put under such stress that it doesn't even have time to think, let alone have fun.
Personally I feel more visionary than that entity that invented the smartphone and I try to imagine a society based on pleasure and freedom. About an attraction between human beings that happens every day but can't be satisfied due to modern stress and social class. A human and loving relationships that do not take into account money but rather the knowledge that each individual possesses. A truly evolved society, which really has two thousand years of history (although I personally believe our race is younger) should be at an ideal point. As I said before; energy, water, food and a house should be free as the basis of an advanced civilization. If these things existed, relationships would be on another level; more real, genuine and relaxing. We have by nature a mutual attraction towards someone not only in a man-woman relationship. These would be easily satisfied without money dictating the rules. Logic, rationality and knowledge are the characteristics that distinguish us not a hundred thousand euro SUV, a villa, a managerial job or a political office. This is simply the scum of society, the one that wants to produce without a reason, themselves servants of other higher entities. I don't know what these entities have planned for us, but as long as I live I try to enjoy natural things and make people close to me understand the evil intentions of these disgusting beings.
