In my post “Shades of Blue” I showed the alternative to my favorite color combination. In that post I wore a total blue to contrast the denim jeans and I also said that I would have posted my favorite combination in the right time. That moments has arrived and as you may know my favorite look is the total black wore to contrast the denim jeans. I’ll call this combination “Mr. Black”.
To be honest I postponed so many times this outfit just to realize that I could actually do it in many different ways, I noticed this only after I shot this one. For this post I tried to realize “Mr. Black” in a formal version. Details like the shirt, the belt and the boots gives formalities to the outfit while the ripped jeans and the biker leather jacket are two “Rebel” pieces. At the beginning I wanted to add a pair of fingerless gloves but then I changed my mind, plus I wanted to use a new pair of sunglasses, which I ordered, but I had some delay with the shipping so I’ll show them in my next post.
So this outfit is definitely my favorite. This combination is perfect for those moments when I want to be cool but I don’t have time to create a new outfit with new colors. If I look back at my outfits (long before to be a blogger), it is full of this color combination but most of time paired with t-shirt and casual shoes. This is really a “classic” for me, since I was a teenager.
In this post I wear two new pieces; the formal boots by Faruk Sagin and my summer-spring leather jacket by D’Arienzo. Btw the “old” pieces are so cool, the Dsquared2 jeans clement (my favorite model) and the iconic double G Gucci belt are pieces from last year while the shirt is from 2017.
I have to say that I really like the result, I want to create at least other two variations of this color combination. So stay tuned because “Mr. Black” is going to come back soon.
