Military Coat

Even this time I’m late on posting about a trend. In fact it’s over one year that the Military Coat is everywhere through influencers on social networks. I wanted to buy this coat since the end of 2016 but normally winter clothes are already for sale in October. Lately the weather is unpredictable but most of time in my city, October is still a spring month so I’m not excited to buy coat or similar. This is why I couldn’t have this military coat last year, I waited and when I decided to buy one I couldn’t find my size anymore. So my mission by the end of 2017 was to have this piece in the first moment I saw it online. I’ve been lucky and I found the same coat I wanted last year right on the day of the Black Friday so it didn’t cost so much. With this piece I could put together the outfit I had in my mind. 

Despite I had this outfit “ready” I had bad luck with the weather and finding the photographer, but I started to study the forecast and I saw that there was a super sunny day right when I had a day off and I decided to choose as a photographer a friend of mine which is not a photographer. Btw if you’re a good teacher, you know what you want and the person you hire for the job is smart, you can get what you want. I have to say that my friend did a great job and I complimented him for the result.

Let’s talk about the outfit, as I said I liked how this kind of coat look on people who was wearing online, so I wanted to try on myself. This model by Zara is cool because is simple, it only has the bottoms and some red tiny lines to resemble  the military style. I paired with my new Richie jeans by Dondup, that I wore here but in a different color. This skinny jeans are one of my favorite because they fit perfectly but at the same time they’re are not so tight so maybe not so cool like my Clemens by Dsquared2 but I feel more comfortable. The shirt is by ASOS, it is a cheaper one but I had to resize as I usually do because it was too large on the back. The whammy boots are by Aldo, I bought them last time I’ve been in Milan and I already wore many time before this shooting. The chic part of all is of course the belt. This double G by Gucci is already an icon. The funny thing is that I tried to buy it in Milan like I did for the boots but without luck. Lately I buy almost everything online but sometimes I like to do some classic shopping especially when I want to buy some big brands items. It was strange to be inside the Gucci store in Via Montenapoleone, admire the shiny pieces they had inside but unfortunately they didn’t have the belt I wanted. Lots of appearance but not the thing I liked. I hope this was only for the belt that I should have bought but actually I think that it’s impossible to have in a retail store all the products they have online. I end up buying it  on the Gucci website. 

I really loved the pics and how this outfit looks like. I think that the coat give me a new style, something unusual for me. Even the color combination is good but the game changer is still the belt. It is something that shines and take the attention. I can’t wait to wear this coat on my nights out and if I’lI feel comfortable with this style I’ll probably buy a new one.
