Biker and winter loafers
By Antonio Malara
Loafers are my favorite kind of shoes, I remember that in my twenties I had a winter type that I used almost the whole season. I don't know why but step by step I stopped wear them, maybe because I considered them not comfortable for winter time (because of cold).
Lately I noticed that they're are back in stock, I saw also lot of people wear them even without socks. So I put this shoes on my wishlist and when I found this pair by Melluso, I bought, but instead of my favorite black I've chosen the wine color. I made this choice because I had a biker leather jacket by D'Arienzo so it was my intention to do this combination. Especially for jackets, wine color has been pretty popular last season, it was easy to see people wear it, especially girls rather then boys.
As one who likes mainly black, white and blue, this color has been a little challenge. I said to myself: if a I buy it then I'll wear.
The outfit is simple, it's a rebel one, the biker leather jacket with a long sleeves t-shirt and slim jeans. The "unconventional" things are the shoes, a little formal for the outfit.
What I can say about the clothes, the jacket quality is really hight and it smells so good, it's also comfortable to be a fit one. The shoes...they're are really perfect, super comfy, with three cm platform. Because of this I'm also taller, besides when you walk you're silent like a cat, really a positive surprise.
This shoes reminded me to old times, I'm happy that I can wear this model again, the only thing I'm regret is that I should have bought even the black ones.
