As I explained in the Huracán STO post, this Revuelto is the other car in the Speed Champions set. I actually bought this set primarily for this car, both because I followed its launch when it came out by watching several videos and because, beyond its technical features, the Revuelto immediately struck me with its design. Although I would have preferred a color other than orange, I was still curious to see the model in Lego form. As I've explained in other posts, I'm not particularly fond of building Speed Champions models lately because I find them too simple, even though they're still very beautiful. Bought more out of curiosity, this Revuelto has proven to be a truly unique product in the positive sense of the word. Although relaxing, assembling the car was more challenging than I expected. Aside from a few minor mistakes, I have to say that this car featured different components and fastening solutions than anything I've ever assembled on a Speed Champions. This is likely due to the unique characteristics of the original car, both in terms of the engine and its aerodynamics. The presence of many flaps made assembly very complex and not at all linear, but personally I preferred it because it required more effort and concentration. All these design solutions created a beautiful model that I adore the more I look at it. Another important thing is that there was the option to customize the car by adding side flaps and rearview mirrors in black rather than orange. This color is the only thing I don't particularly like, however, along with the car's design and the small black inserts, I have to say that the eye is drawn more to the car than its color. The car is perfectly balanced, and the front end is definitely the most beautiful, as the stylization here gives it a 3D effect rather than a bare look. The Revuelto is certainly a beautiful car in itself, and even reproducing it in the Speed Champions version couldn't have been done otherwise. Although in my previous post on the Huracán STO, I said that the Technic version of the Revuelto was too expensive, I'm now curious to see what that version looks like, and I think I'll definitely put the car back on my wishlist. In the meantime, I'll find a special home for this Speed Champions so I can look at it from multiple perspectives. A.M.
